Happy New Year!
It’s been a fantastic first 6 months with Daisy and 2012 is going to be very exciting with lots of Weddings and events already booked in, and we’ve started taking bookings for 2013!
2011 took Daisy to Goodwood Motor Circuit for her first wedding, a vintage party in the control tower.

In between bookings the renovation work on Daisy continued, a chance meeting led to finding someone who is a mechanical genius in every way, and I was able to take a booking for a wedding in Cambridge, at South Farm, a spectacular venue in the countryside for Spencer and Caroline.

Daisy and her delicious Cotswold Ice Cream went down a storm with Bride, Groom and wonderful guests, before they went off to enjoy duck herding in the gardens!
The year just got more and more exciting we visited Oxford Food and Wine Festival and met the rather handsome Raymond Blanc who jumped on board.

A couple of local trips to gorgeous venues for Wedding Fayres, Easthampstead Park, where Daisy sat resplendent on the terrace and Brides and grooms-to-be and their families all enjoyed some late summer sunshine and an ice cream in the beautiful grounds.

More fabulous Brides and Grooms in autumn sunshine at Newbury Manor Hotel Wedding Fayre.

And to round off the year before the huge internal refurbishment started Daisy was invited to Le Manoir Aux Quat Saisons in Oxfordshire by Raymond Blanc for a party to celebrate the their Catey Award as Hotel of the Year. It did get a little wet and rainy but that didn’t deter anyone coming for an ice cream and we were treated to spectacular rainbows over the Oxfordshire countryside.

Daisy’s interior refurbishment is well under way and she’s raring to go into 2012 with a packed diary, and a new range of sorbets and hot chocolate.
What a fantastic post from a fantastic 6 months can’t wait to read all Daisy’s adventures for 2012 x
Thanks Sarah, I can’t wait to start Daisy’s 2012, Happy New Year 🙂
