I love taking Daisy to public events, and I do like being around vehicles old and shiny.
Back in July we were invited along to Harley Davidson Oxford to be a part of their 10 year celebrations. It was so much fun, and the bikers all embraced the sprinkles on their ice creams and in their beards!!
We met Rob from Petrol Head Art, a digital artist who creates unique artwork using your car or bike as the star, I haven’t worked out a scenario for Daisy yet but I am working on it.
Another fabulous day was spent with collection of VW’s in a field in Great Missenden. I wasn’t too sure how friendly they would be to the only Bedford in the field, but they welcomed us with open arms and made us very welcome. This was the Wolfsburg Weedhuggers Lazy Day, and we met a lovely little Juice Dub and an old friend, Monkshood Coffee.
August came along and off we went to one of my favourite yearly events, Wilton House Classic and Supercar Event. This was our second year and it didn’t disappoint, the sun shone, people queued for ice cream and it was lovely to have customers making a point of coming to see Daisy again after meeting us last year. We were also very lucky to have our picture taken by the very talented Robert Overy who has become a great twitter mate.
