Wonderful Wedding Venues & Photographers

It’s been a magical summer so far with visits to lots of wedding and party venues and guests enjoying  fabulous ice creams and treats.  And we’ve also met some exceptionally talented photographers along the way.

We’ve visited venues that are becoming like old friends and discovered some fabulous new ones.

Lillibrooke Manor is a favourite wedding venue of ours, set in beautiful countryside with stunning gardens, barns, and a main house all available to happy couples that choose the venue.

A venue we hadn’t been to before but I know well having grown up in the area is Badgemore Park Golf Club.  A fabulous wedding venue in Henley on Thames set in stunning surroundings.

Taplins Place was another new discovery, a 400 year old farmhouse set in the most beautiful gardens and woodland and an area that can be used as a wedding campsite.  You will find Taplins Place just outside Hartley Wintney in Hampshire.  I met the lovely and very talented Simon Kemp of Simon Kemp Photography who put a great blog together about the wedding with some lovely photos.

I loved the relaxed feel of these wedding venues and the way the couples could really give them a personal touch unique to them for their special days.

A wonderful garden wedding venue in June was particularly unique for Caroline and Andrew as it was Caroline’s family home and I was lucky enough to meet Marianne Taylor of Marianne Taylor Photography who took some of the prettiest photos of Daisy, many of which you will have seen on the slide show on the homepage.

There are so many people with such amazing talent that we meet at weddings and parties, special mentions should go to Hannah Walker of Casey Avenue Photography and Alex from My Love Story Photography.  Both huge talents with different styles.

Alex put a fab blog together from a wedding we visited in May at Knepp Castle.
